Why cant I upgrade to ibird ultimate for a discount.

Great app, but its a money sham. I already dished out $30 for the this version a year ago and now they make a better app called ibird ultimate that we have to dish out another $30 to get. Its the exact same but has 2 extra features. You should be able to upgrade for ten dollars. There screwing over all there past customers out of another $30, because this app becomes obsolete once they purchase the new one.
