I love using this app. Great in the field or to find answers.

Just as easy as having a field guide but lighter and smaller plus the call recordings. :) love it good job. Oh yeah and playing the bird calls brings them in closer sometimes. Update- still the best app I own. Totally worth the price!

Any serious bird watcher should have this wonderful app. I have used iBird apps for several years. Cant go wrong with this one.

I enjoy watching birds and even teach it to beginners. I think this tool is fantastic. The songs are very helpful and the maps are accurate. I like the multiple photos. This is one of the best apps for animal ID on the market and the absolute best bird guide app I have seen.

Dropping rating from 5 to 3. iPhone 6/6+ screen sizes have been out for a year and a half and this is pretty much my last app that doesnt support them natively. UI is all blown up and silly looking. Otherwise... Great bird reference app! Has really pushed the boundaries of reference guides in the 21st century. I love the constant updates. Keep it up! UI could be a bit less cluttered and cleaned up. But overall it looks and functions great!

I have used this app for several years and love it. It is on my iPad and iPhone so is with me everywhere. The increased functionality with each update has continued to enhance it. I love the compare, search, sound and notes functions.

Would be nice if distribution maps could be user-expandable for better resolution... However, Very good overall and highly recommended...

IBird Pro is a decent birding app. I use it almost daily. Its convenient and a great learning tool. There are many, many search tools, which at first I found quite daunting and cumbersome, but with time Im starting to use these effectively. The biggest downside Ive encountered in searching to I.D. a bird is that the identification criteria are based solely on the male---I searched in vain for ages trying to identify a bird that had many prominent features. No matter how many or few I put into the search, I could not identify the bird, which turned out to be a female red winged blackbird. Considering all the various criteria available in the search area, it would seem that sex of the bird would be considered, it clearly is not. Thats a pretty big flaw in my opinion. Other than that, Im pretty happy and feel the app is worth the money for regular birders.
